Andrew Soowal’s beginnings can be found in the South Florida area he still serves today. He grew up working on his father’s wholesale ornamental nursery before going off to Florida State University. After receiving his Bachelor’s in Marketing in 1983, Andrew continued to work for his father for a short while before taking a risk and trying it on his own.
Alongside his wife in 1986, Andrew started a small landscape installation company. By 2002, Andrew had grown it into the third largest landscape installation company in Florida, employing well over 100 employees and offering a variety of additional services, including landscape architecture, management, and maintenance. Andrew’s notoriety as a businessman and a grower was evidenced over this period by numerous PRISM Awards, Florida Home Builders Association Awards, and Florida Nurseryman and Growers Association Awards, including Grower of the Year in 1987. His experience in successfully negotiating with some of the largest builders in the country during this time has allowed him to seamlessly transition into the field of commercial real estate.
Since starting his career in commercial real estate, Andrew has masterfully pieced together some of the largest real estate deals by a single agent/broker in the South Florida area. Andrew’s extensive experience working in the agricultural field gives him a unique and unmatched vision into commercial real estate. Andrew’s business experience has allowed him to successfully aid in the startup and completion of seven fully operational large nurseries. Andrew’s success as a commercial real estate (broker/agent) has prompted surrounding brokerages to use his services to represent them in commercial transactions.
Over the last few years, Andrew has successfully transacted commercial real estate deals with Real Estate Investment Trusts, Local and Regional Developers, Local Businesses, as well as successfully negotiated millions of dollars’ worth of tenant lease representation.
