The Signature Family proudly announced in 2018 new Special Project Manager, Maya Allen, to its Corporate Headquarters in Boca Raton. Her addition is a direct response to Signature’s mission to become a household name globally. Starting as a REALTOR® with the company, Maya has been a swift ascent to Signature’s management team.
With an eye for compliance, Maya is astute in coordinating projects, and managing land-use applications. Herself a licensed real estate professional, Maya is charged with the coordination of Signature’s new-build offices and respective renovations that assist REALTOR® staff operate at full speed. Maya manages the licensing of all new offices (e.g. city and county), building maintenance, service contracts, and the day-to-day operations of multiple Signature brokerages. As such, Maya is integral for each brokerages’ tangible-issue resolution.
Hailing from the beautiful State of Oregon, Maya Allen earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminology from Southern Oregon University. She then moved to Washington State and worked as a site acquisition specialist for Pacific Mountain Development and a REALTOR® for REMAX Equity Group and custom-homebuilder Manor Homes in Camas and Vancouver, respectively.
After the Marjory Stoneman Douglas tragedy in Parkland, Maya generously sponsored 50 percent of a major grant to a victim’s family to offset their housing costs while their daughter healed. The family has since returned to normalcy. She is an active volunteer member of Signature’s 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, Signature Gives Back
Caring for community is a constant theme for Maya Allen. She’s been a volunteer for CASA, advocating for the humane treatment and positive development of abused and neglected children who would otherwise “languish in an inappropriate group or foster home.” Maya has volunteered with Education Rocks, a global outreach organization that stabilizes and develops the educational path of school-age children. She has a strong history negotiating with legal professionals as well, from her service as a probation officer with Palm Beach County.
Maya is an avid tennis player and well-connected within the South Florida community. She, in her spare time, enjoys watching her daughter play high school lacrosse (2017 State Championships) and son play baseball. Prior to joining the Signature Real Estate Companies, Maya invested her time in the successful development of her two children, Sarah and Jack, both Honors Students and athletes. She, husband Brian, and her family live in Delray Beach, FL.
